To install DiskMaker X 9, locate the installer disk image (.dmg) file. I am quite overwhelmed and very happy with how Lion DiskMaker is appreciated. It seems to happen on Macs which use a third-party decompression utility like BetterZip, UnArchiver, Stuffit Deluxe… I now force using Archive Utiltiy in every case. Lion DiskMaker is pretty simple to use: fire it up, choose your version of OS X and wait while the program finds your installation file and then turns it into a bootable USB stick.
